Each month throughout the winter, we give out blankets to our kids. They get excited every time and enjoy picking out the right color and pattern; bonus points if it is extra cushy and soft.
Some of our kids simply enjoy getting something new and cozy. However, the reality for many of our kids is they need more heat in their homes. Some do not have their own beds and use these blankets to make pallets on the floor. Others often go and stay with different family members throughout the week, and there may or may not be enough bedding for everyone, so they take their blankets with them.
We are so grateful for every blanket we could distribute to our kids this year, given by generous donors like you. Thank you for caring.
