About Us
Rock House Kids is a 501(C)3 outreach organization that seeks to feed at-risk children physically, spiritually and emotionally. Since 1999, we have cared for Rockford’s inner city children, ages 6-18, by providing a safe, warm and nurturing environment.
During our evening programs (Monday and Wednesday nights for first- through sixth- grade students and Tuesday and Thursday nights for seventh- through twelfth-grade students), we serve hot meals, and enjoy music and instructional time.

Ways You Can Help

Angels of Love
A different way to support our inner-city kids, our Angels of Love provide regular monthly support that helps offset the monthly programming costs for a child. Click below to find out how You can become an Angel.

Expansion and Renovations
We are excited to reveal our most current upgrades and renovations ~ our brand new computer lab and our renovated kitchen! But…we are also growing and have more expansion plans underway.

Kid-Friendly Food Bags
Every child who attends an evening program is sent home with a bag of kid-friendly foods to help sustain him/her when they are away from our facility. We are always in need of items to put in the bags. Click for a list of what foods work best.
