Volunteer at RHK

IMPORTANT! To ensure the safety of our children and staff, applicants must be 18 years of age and are subject to a background check.

The compassionate adults who give their time to help with our program have a wide variety of skills and availability. Because everyone is different in what they can or want to do, or when they are available, we need a large number of Volunteers! Many of these positions cross over onto others so one person may cover more than one area on a given day.

Most importantly, Rock House Kids Volunteers share our vision of being positive, Godly role models for the children and keeping them safe.

We're sure you agree that these children are the future of our community. If you see the importance of what we are doing, we want to meet you!

Please check out the many ways to help below. Then review our Statement of Faith, fill out our Volunteer Application and return it to us. Upon completion of a background screen, we will contact you to set up a short orientation meeting.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

Our Beliefs:

GOD — We believe there is One God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He is truly God and truly man. Matthew 28:19

SCRIPTURE —We accept the Bible as the inspired Word of God. It was written by men, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, is authoritative, and without error. 2 Timothy 3:15, Hebrews 4:12

HUMANITY — We believe every person matters to God. All people were created in the image of God to have a relationship with him, but became separated from God through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts. Titus 3:5, 2 Corinthians 5:15, Romans 3:23
SALVATION — We believe that the sacrifice and death of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to anyone who places their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sins. - Romans 5:8, Romans 10:9, Hebrews 9:12-15

But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”
