Rock House Kids is celebrating 25 years of ministry to Rockford’s inner-city kids in 2024!Our annual Winter camping trip is always a fun time for our teens.
It is a time to:
– get away and relax
– try new experiences like tubing and “stump ball”
– get to know their leaders and the rest of the group better
It is also a time when they are able to slow down and process the heavy load some carry with them when they are at home.
When they get away from the “norm” and slow down, it is easier to spend time with God and grow in their faith. Through the chapel and devotion times, the teens learn more about Christ and the great love He has for each of them. Our prayer is that this in turn will help them to put their trust in Him.
