Summers at RHK mean more opportunities to get outside and often that means field trips and plenty of outdoor activities for our kids. This summer has been jam packed and we still have a month to go!
Our teens cheered on their knight during dinner at Medieval Times. Unfortunately, their knight lost (the fourth year in a row!)
The elementary grades enjoyed their annual picnic at Lockwood Park, and the 5th & 6th graders took a trip to visit the Madison Zoo.
Forest City Church hosted all of our kids and teens for a two-day day camp, and they all had a blast!
Amid all the fun, we also stopped on July 8 to honor one of our sweet girls, Destiny, who was brutally killed a year ago on that date. We thank the Lord for the time Destiny was with us at RHK. She will always be a part of our family.
Even though school will be starting in a few weeks, summer's not over yet and there's plenty of fun ahead for the kids.
