RHK Closures and Inclement Weather Policy
RHK follows the same schedule as the Rockford School District 205. If they are closed for a holiday or break, we will also be closed.

​Exceptions: In the case of Teacher In-Service Days, RHK will be open for evening program even if the kids do not attend school on those days. Also, RHK's program is year-round program. We take Spring, Thanksgiving, and Christmas breaks off during the school year, but we are open during the summer months.

​Inclement Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, RHK follows the RPS205 schedule. If classes are canceled before the school day begins, RHK will also be closed. If school closes later than the school day begins, the RHK office will usually remain open until 3 PM, but evening programming will be canceled. RHK will post cancellations on our Social Media pages (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and on our website (rockhousekids.org). We will also notify the local TV stations.
