Meet Dola Gregory

Meet Dola Gregory….

After spending some time among the homeless adult population in inner city Rockford, Dola started noticing the population of homeless children. She recognized the need for these children to have adult mentors where there were none. She noticed the need for food and clothing where there were none. She understood there was a need for tutoring and encouragement where there were none. And she noticed the need for simple truth to be spoken into their lives as well as simply expressing love to them.

So in 1999, Dola’s dream to bring the love of Jesus into the lives of the at-risk children of Rockford’s inner city became a reality with Rock House Kids. She saw a need to minister to these kids and sacrificed her upper-middle class suburban life in order to serve them.

Now,  she actively improves children’s lives every week. Instead of working with “at-risk” children she is working with “kids of possibility”.

Dola Gregory attended Frontier Community College in Fairfield, Illinois and Kishwaukee Community College in Malta, Illinois. She received certification in theology from the Institute of Theology in Des Moines, Iowa and is a licensed ordained Minister through Full Gospel. Dola has left her legacy in Who’s Who of American Women, Who’s Who in the World, National Register’s Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals and the Heritage Registry of Who’s Who.
