Mission

Rock House Kids Mission:
Sharing God’s love with at risk children through Biblical principles, with spiritual and physical solutions.

Founded in 1999 by Dola Gregory, Rock House Kids is an outreach that cares for at-risk children in Rockford’s inner city. There is a growing number of at-risk children from ages 6 to 18 who are in need of a safe, warm, and nurturing environment. At Rock House Kids, we try to provide this environment by strengthening the spiritual, mental, and physical growth of these children in many ways. We offer purity classes, teach manners, instill preventive gang involvement, and take educational field trips. We serve hot meals and distribute child-friendly single serving non-perishable food bags to each child. We help provide school supplies and backpacks and offer tutoring in an after school program. Christmas presents are given out along with a special party in December. Most importantly, we share God’s love. These inner city children need mentors to help them grow up strong and wise. At Rock House Kids,  we do our best to help raise up this next generation!

Please contact our office if you would be interested in being a part of the great volunteer team happening here each week!

Our motto, “Help a child today and you won’t have to repair an adult tomorrow.”
